Rosters are limited and filled first come, first served with paid registration. Once registration opens, please do not wait until the deadline to register, as spots fill quickly and may be filled before the deadline.

Travel/Club Players:
INDOOR IS NOT THE PREFERRED OPTION FOR TRAVEL OR CLUB PLAYERS. There are limited spots available for travel players.

Equipment:

Shin guards are required.  **NO CLEATS**  Indoor soccer shoes or any flat soled athletic shoe may be worn.

The rules are the same as outdoor soccer with the following exceptions:

• There is no out-of-bounds. Therefore, there are no throw-ins, goal kicks, or corner kicks
• When the ball goes over the side barrier or against the ceiling, it results in a free kick.
• There is no offsides.
• Substitutions can take place at any time during the game.

NERRC Winter Indoor Soccer Game Rules

Timeline:  Subject to league scheduling, games typically begin in early January and run through March for up to 10 games (8 minimum).

Practices:  There are no practices during the indoor season.  Teams may be given the opportunity for one (1) preseason practice subject to field availability at NERRC.

Schedule/Tentative Dates of Play:  Towson United does not control or have any influence over the indoor schedule.  NERRC handles all scheduling decisions.  The following is a projected schedule advised by NERRC and is subject to change:

• U8 (2018s & 2019s): Saturday or Sunday (between 8:30 am – 8:00 pm)
• U10 (2016s & 2017s): games may be scheduled Monday - Friday (between 5:30pm - 9:00pm or Saturday/Sunday)
• U12 (2014s & 2015s): games may be scheduled Monday - Friday (between 5:30pm - 9:00pm or Saturday/Sunday)
• U14 (2012s & 2013s): games may be scheduled Monday - Friday (between 5:30pm - 9:00pm or Saturday/Sunday)
• High School/U19 (2010s-2007s): games may be scheduled any evening (between 7pm – 10pm)

Schedules will be released likely mid-December and will be pushed out to coaches/teams as soon as available from the NERRC.

Mid-Season Realignment: After 4 games, NERRC realigns divisions for competitive balance (meaning teams with similar records are regrouped into divisions together).  This may result in your team's gameday changing to a different day of the week.
