Ski Club registration opens October 1st.

  • This will secure your seat on the bus.
  • You must also purchase an Epic Pass through epicpass.com. Hurry! Rates increase 10/7! See COST section below for more details on Epic Passes and equipment information

Ski Club registration closes November 1st.

  • Late registrations may be accepted based on seat availability; $15 late fee applies.
  • No registrations after 12/4.

Supporting Bus Chaperones - Towson High, St. Paul's Schools, Meadowood Park

We are also recruiting several rotating trip chaperones for the schools listed above.  You may choose one date or multiple dates depending on your availability and a complimentary lift ticket and $5 rentals will be included.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Coach buses depart after school (Meadowood Park site departs at 3:40 pm) and return at 10:30 p.m.; trips are held on Fridays unless otherwise noted. 

Make-ups due to weather may take place on Thursdays, Fridays or Sundays depending on bus availability.

Private school sites are limited to students who attend those schools.

Students from any school are welcome on the Meadowood, Dumbarton or Towson High pick-up sites, provided they can arrive by the scheduled departure time.

Participants must register through TRC for the bus transportation and must purchase an Epic Ski Pass.  

Participants must secure their own ski equipment (through purchase or rental; see links to resources under 'COST' section)

Lessons are not included; it is recommended that students participate in a lesson(s) at the resort prior to joining the ski club.

Grow Independence

It’s the end of the many-year era. I’m sad but grateful for the TRC Ski Club experience that allowed them to grow in independence and enjoyment of this great sport.

4 Kids, 10 Years

This year marks the end of 4 kids and 10 years of participation in TRC ski club. Just wanted to tell you what a great experience it has been for our kids and what an incredible job you all do getting it to run so smoothly - well done indeed - and very much appreciated on our end!! Hope the future years of the program are as successful as these past 10 years have been!

Confidence on the Slopes

You and the chaperones are AMAZING! Thank you for another awesome ski season. Harlan had such a good time. It's important to me that he is confident on the slopes.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

While this program is open to beginners, it is recommended that first-time skiers be accompanied by a parent or more experienced friend on their first trip; or visit the resort at least once prior to ski club start on your own to get a lay of the land.

Your child should be independent in renting equipment, carrying equipment, riding the lift, and skiing/boarding. Parents should understand that students are not supervised directly while on the slopes or in the ski lodge. Ski patrol will contact TRC chaperones in the event of a medical concern, at which point chaperones will contact parents as necessary.

Students must adhere to departure times, manage their behavior on the bus and at the resort and be willing to approach adult chaperones to ask for assistance when needed. Ski club participants are expected to follow the same behavioral guidelines as listed in their school student handbook. Violations may result in suspension from the club with no refunds. Please use your judgement if your child meets the criteria.
