Description of Divisions

TBall (age 4/5)

General Information

T-Ball is an introduction to baseball. The players learn basic rules and skills in non-competitive games. The philosophy is to focus on fun and foster a love of the game.

  • Players must be age 4 or 5 as of May 1, 2025.
  • Practices on Wednesday evenings; Games played on Saturdays at 8:30 am
  • Practices begin in early April and the season ends in early June

 

T-Ball Rules

  • There are no strikes, no outs and scores are not kept.
  • The teams consist of 8-10 kids so they get lots of attention.
  • The ball is batted from a tee
  • Each child gets a base hit every inning.
  • The last batter hits a home run and clears the bases
  • Games are typically two or three innings.
